History has been made for Mr B.F.F! He debuts in his first ever Online Game of Mario Party Superstars with his friend, Quintin who has made openings with Mr B.F.F in both Wii Sports Club and Nintendo Switch Sports online. They take their Online Crash Course to the next level. But on the Mario Party Superstars soil for their first ever meeting online on that game.
Their first ever meeting……
In an 10 turn game in Yoshi’s Tropical Island, not knowing what is going to happen, but having some knowledge in the game overall, the turn order was decided. Mr B.F.F rolled a 10 to get first. An opposite happened with Quintin as he goes last. Interesting start but how well will our player do? Mr B.F.F goes first and takes the toll. It was only then that the Star swapped places. We await to see the next turn come by. Next turn, he approaches Bowser for which he was slightly snubbed. He received the Cursed Dice Block and felt the lucky stars might be coming.
Meanwhile, the focus was mainly towards getting coins and winning more Mini-Games. The only slip up is when Quintin had a Custom Dice Block for which he chooses a 9, in attempt to switch places by landing on a Event Space and deny Mr B.F.F a star when he reaches him in his next turn. He ended up going 1 over for which he turned bait to Bowser.
This drastic repercussion led to Mr B.F.F earning a star and tying with Quintin. In a Last 5 turns segment, made by CPU Peach, she lands on a space with Mr B.F.F forcing a Duel, with 48 coins in the pool. She ultimately loses to him and the pool of coins goes to Mr B.F.F giving him over 105 coins and guarantees the coin star. She would rebound and get her 2nd star for which she had enough coins for.
As the final approaches, Mr B.F.F jumps over to Boo for which he has enough coins to Steal a Star, however it costs 50 coins. Mr B.F.F ultimately passed as coins can be a factor in the Final, although he would have finished ahead with 4 stars if risked. The turning down of the risk played reward, as Mr B.F.F was able to maintain more coins in the Final, granting him a Bonus Star. He and Quintin both received a star for maintaining composure in the Mini Games. With a tie of 3, it was a lock for Mr B.F.F as he had enough coins to prevail and take victory. Therefore, defeating Quintin, who finishes as runner up! This gave him a 1 – 0 score against him. Quintin praised Mr B.F.F for keeping composure to the end, although both players had their slip ups in some Mini Games.
