Mario Kart 7 with Mr B.F.F! Debut in Online!

Team Member Mr B.F.F makes a nice debut in the popular 3DS Game since he got it a few years earlier

Yep! You heard that right! We are playing another brand new Game Online! Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS! Let’s see what’s happening with the Debut Session. Mr B.F.F has some VR coming in the Debut so he actually did a few online races before. Team Member, Quintin also got his hands on the game but he hasn’t played it in a while.

There is possibly a chance one day that the pair will face off on the 3DS version! We’ve seen both Quintin and Mr B.F.F play the deluxe version but will they agree to do one on the 3DS? We’ll find out soon enough. But for now, we head into the official debut of the game with Team Member, Mr B.F.F! First, how did pur Main Leader get his copy of the game? A rather interesting story.

It was during the time that Mr B.F.F faced a broken 2DS after the screen was punched on. This was a result of Mario falling off the game in New Super Mario Bros. The damage was too significant that we needed a new 2DS. (We did sell the console and the buyer got it in that condition for which they have repaired. Don’t worry if you are concerned about e-waste in this scenario).

Anyways, with that 2DS out of our hands, stores back then were still selling the consoles in stores and we had to travel to our local game shop to get it. We were considering to upgrade to a New 3DS XL but we needed to wait next week in order for it to be considered. Our heads sticked the 2DS once again. Same model but in Good Working Condition.

How did the Console turn out to be?

What kind could you be asking? It’s the same model, a colored Red Model, with a new screen, a brand new SD Card and a slot and so on in a box with a twist. Not only the console but it came with a Download Code on it. We finally unboxed it and it came with a Mario Kart 7 Download code. When we got to scratching it with a Coin, it damaged the code so deeply it didn’t show the code well and it was considered damaged, noting that it was on Paper. We needed to call support on this issue for which the Customer Representative helped.

On that journey to recover it, we needed to list and provide the Nintendo Customer Service with additional information, such as proof and some security/personal details which we received in an Email. They asked us to provide as much information as possible.

This included a proof of purchase, a receipt, our NNID, Date of Birth, email which we sent them and a Serial Number of the Console. We sent them all of the relevant information and as such we were able to get a code, don’t know if it was the same download code on the original piece of paper, but we eventually did it and got the game. Just so you know, this was years back and I have deleted all of the email contacts since our conversation with support so, what’s left was my memory I had to know during this 2-4 hour wait on the phone. Here’s a smaller concept of what you could do if you damage your Download Code in their updated UK support page.

Blast off to Mario Kart 7! What happened today?

It is time to get the wheels going and start with only two Online Games Mr B.F.F played on. In Mario Kart 7, there are a maximum of 7 Racers in an Online Global Game. This is different from Mario Kart 8, which can bring in more players. Mr B.F.F noted that controls could be a factor in taking a Dip in Rankings.

In race one, he saw a sloppy performance as he was slowing down and being caught up by his fellow players. It was only then until the final lap that the Team Member kept falling and his fellow players were well ahead of him. He momentarily got 2nd but his fellow players overtook him. This resulted in a Drop to a disappointing 5th place and little VR awarded. Mr B.F.F is looking to do better as he tries again one more time in the second race.

The Second Race is underway…. the conclusion of the session.

In the 2nd race, Mr B.F.F tried to push ahead but instead, hit by an item that spiked him down drastically. He eventually tried to rebound but just fell to 6th place, and then 7th momentarily. His fellow racers were faster than him and he needed to catch up harder. As he was 7th, he got the Bullet Bill powerup which pushed him to 5th and raced hard on the final lap.

As soon as he hit the checkered flag, he finished 4th after a player was hit. It was to his surprise that he actually did so well and that the music played a positive note. He received a better amount of VR for his 4th place performance. He finished with a final total of 1023 VR. It was also his Career-High Win of 4th in an Online for the 3DS version. Still 2nd his best Career-High in the Wii U Online Version. He ended his Online Mario Kart 7 Session in a rather satisfactory note. That wraps it up for today. Next time, Mr B.F.F will be looking into playing again and consider doing better in Mario Kart 7.
