Mario Kart 8 Collab Video With Gameboy Finally Released!

Lookie here! The Mario Kart 8 Collaboration featuring Super Gameboy vs. Mr B.F.F is now available by for viewing! Following the preview from the previous session, both players had to be ready. This time, things were very intense, especially for Mr B.F.F who hasn’t gotten the best of the races, winning only three, two in a Single 150cc round and guaranteeing first place with Gameboy as they tied. We’ll summarize the game in words for today’s Highlights.

Race 1: (Winner: Both Players)

The Mario Kart 8 battle begins! Race 1 kicked off in style as Mr B.F.F drives well ahead of Gameboy, and has extended it by throwing a Banana near the Speed Ramp, for which Gameboy makes contact. He falls off the ramp which makes a big lead for Mr B.F.F for which he had no hesitation and hasn’t slipped until the 1st Race was over.

He completed the full three laps as Mr B.F.F won the first race, 3 – 1. In the 2nd race, Gameboy overtakes him as the margin was not far from the previous race. He continues to drift decently well as Mr B.F.F who does the opposite and driving off road, Gameboy had also did the same occasionally. Hoping for lucky stars to arrive in the process, Mr B.F.F needed some good, frantic items in order for a comeback to happen.

A plain sight for a comeback to return for Gameboy……

Gameboy was right ahead of Mr B.F.F slightly as they head in the final lap. No luck for the first 2 laps as both players were really close. Mr B.F.F managed to get a Red Shell but was deflected with Gameboy’s Banana. He attempts to further increase the margin, nearly curving correctly through the slopes perfectly. He is now far ahead. Mr B.F.F tries to catch up hoping that he gets an items that will save him. He finally got Three Red Shells which will help him.

Throwing one shell in the process, Gameboy deflects one again with the Banana. But when the 2nd throw strikes, he gets hit. Mr B.F.F catches up to him in the last second and reaches the Checkered Flag just in time! He wins his solid 2nd race and guarantees first place! The score was 6 – 2. In the third and fourth races, Mr B.F.F struggled to pull out those wins, as Gameboy went ahead of him this time, following his downs on the first two races and would manage to tie the score with 8 – 8. The pair locked in 1st place overall for the 1st Mario Kart 8 race.

Race 2 and 3: (Condensed Highlights – Winner: Gameboy)

Hoping to stand alone this time for each player, they make wave for a 2nd and 3rd race. Gameboy seems way too confident that he’ll win a clean sweep this time. He plays in a Track also featured in the Previous Segment. Gameboy makes the finest turns off each curve while Mr B.F.F struggles in form to lose. Thrown with a same track from the First Race, he tries to go ahead of Gameboy but drives off-road, causing him to blow it and make Gameboy go well ahead later on. He tried to catch up with a Bullet Bill in his hands, but he was nowhere near catching up. He lost the race.

Given the same Track once again that was seen in Race 2 – Round 1, Mr B.F.F knew that he was going to mess up again, that was true as Gameboy wins it all again. They finally get a new track where both battled for the Top Spot. After Mr B.F.F gets hit, Gameboy extends the lead and tries to break ahead. He was unable to get good items, and as a result, he lost his fourth race in a row, failing to hit Gameboy in time with the Special Crazy 8 powerup. Gameboy won the Round Standing Alone as 1st Place and Mr B.F.F being the runner-up during the recording. The tally was 12 – 4. A clean sweep for Gameboy.

The Finale: Who will prevail?

The 3rd set of Races went underway as Gameboy continues in his Good Form, they start off in Moo Moo Meadows, for which Gameboy was well ahead. Mr B.F.F tries to catch up with getting Red Shells, including three for which Gameboy manages to deflect, but getting hit once. It didn’t stopped him from winning the 1st race.

In the next two races, one of which is a new Track this time, including the same Track for the 3rd, Gameboy pushes in a lead so well that he gets the lock one more time, and had made it hard for Mr B.F.F to even catch up on those two tracks. Gameboy claims his 2nd win, standing alone. Although 1 Win for Mr B.F.F isn’t enough, they get thrown with the same Track that Mr B.F.F won on. Hoping to Win on the Final Race of the Collab, Gameboy takes his way into 1st for the first two laps. Hoping to see a Come From Behind from Mr B.F.F, the third lap has already progressed.

It was about time that Mr B.F.F got Three Red Shells once more. He throws one and successfully hits Gameboy without a Shield this time. Mr B.F.F nearly catches up just in front of Gameboy where he hits the Red Shell in contact in front of him, putting Gameboy in 2nd not too far behind. Trying to create a gap in the process, Gameboy nearly catches up to him once more.

Finishing in style……. (Conclusion)

Breaking through his own shortcut with the Mushroom, it was still no good, as Mr B.F.F still was behind him, as Gameboy slips off road and giving Mr B.F.F the win by a split moment. He lost a single race in the 3rd Game, with the tally being 10 – 6, Gameboy. Mr B.F.F puts his end to the Collab with a Flourish with Gameboy winning the 3rd Game overall nonetheless.

In the end, Mr B.F.F was pleased of the outcome, especially for the 1st round of four, due to the 2 wins required to claim the Gold 1st Place Trophy. It’s his first with Gameboy. Due to the heavy amount of wins made by Gameboy however, their Head to Head score in Mario Kart 8 is now 7 – 17 in Gameboy’s favor. Gameboy enjoyed the Online this time around, quoting that there will be another day to play this all over again.
