Latest session of Mario Kart 8 Online praised as the best set of races played with the Team overall.
We’d never thought we would get this type of hype before. The Team got along to play Mario Kart 8 Online for the Wii U. It became trending for the Team as we all got interested to play it.
It all started with a live stream from a YouTuber, we all know about of course. Super Gameboy, suggested that some members should participate in the stream. Mr B.F.F, with a ton of interest, confirmed his participation for the Online Games. He was excited to join, knowing he’s looking for more VR as well before Online goes down.
Miguel, another Team Member would confirm his participation after hearing the Games going on. He had his Mario Kart 8 game loading, not having played it for a while. The stream went underway, and Mr B.F.F got onto the Worldwide race of the stream.
The Mario Kart 8 Session Now Went Underway!
After that, the streamer went to set up a Friend Room. Eventually, Gameboy, and Mr B.F.F caught up to the room, also joining a viewer, who is a YouTuber as well. Miguel would also show up, but playing as Miguette. They began racing in the Friend’s Lobby. Though a few players had faced communication errors, there and then, they all got to race regardless.
Quintin would eventually join the lobby as well. The Team did some Battle mode but some players felt that it was not better than Race Mode. They went back to doing races but were severely booted off races due to the communication errors. Other players created Friend Lobbies but the same problem kept occuring. Mr B.F.F found a fix and went to a Blank Regional Race lobby for the problem of communication errors to be solved.
After being dragged out by the game for the first half of the stream, they went on to Race Regionally. The last half saw significant improvement, nearly everyone was still connected to the race and that all involved got a chance to play at the same time. All Members and YouTubers got their chance to participate, with a room of 6.
After a fun session of the Regional Races, the stream would eventually end with the Stream no longer participating on the rest of the races. This would lead to only the Team Members left to race against each other on the same Regional Lobby. During the races, were some impressive outcomes. A few players stood out and took first and some even had tried to race hard. You can view all the tracks played and outcomes on the stream replay here.
Part 2 – The Races Continue…
For Part 2, the Regional Races session continued with Members, Miguel, Super Gameboy, Quintin and Mr B.F.F. There were some good races here and there. Quintin was more on the danger side as he would sometimes take last place and lose a ton of VR due to his high 54,000 race rating. Quintin had lost several times for that to happen while the others are finishing with the VR points they could possibly get!
With all the fun involved, they also got yet another YouTuber, with a considerable amount of subscribers to join the lobby as well. Nilly. That’s right. He joined the group as they continued to race on. Not having played the game as well, and starting with 1,000 VR again, he would enjoy the races Online and create a video from the races he participated on.
In a short review, it was interesting to see him join in for Mario Kart 8 and that he would relive all the memories he had playing the game in the past. There are still a ton of days to go before Online is gone so we hope to see more races happen in the future then.

Conclusion: What are Mr B.F.F’s stats so far?
So far, after all the grinding, we’re still coming in slowly. Mr B.F.F does believe 10,000 VR can happen, but if he has time to play the game more frequently. He also needs to have a big lobby with pretty much the same level of VR to qualify for a handful, and should achieve podium finishes.
All those come to factor and Mr B.F.F should be well in position to achieve 10,000 VR by the time it happens. Gameboy is also looking to grind for VR as well, same factors would apply if he wants to achieve 10,000 as well. For now, both players have 6,000 VR after doing a few more races Online.
The Team had praise the Online Games session as being the best one yet as the Team Members had gotten together and played in a positive way. We hope that we get the same feeling as well as a Team and in future Online Games. It even lead to more confidence to returning to the game once so often. Here’s Mr B.F.F’s updated game stats.
