Out of Bounds and Water Hazards, you name it!
Welcome back to another post! Here is another interesting Wii Sports Club post that got Mr B.F.F and Quintin laughing! Meanwhile, Mr B.F.F does work hard to focus bringing in some quality wins on Golf Online ever since he has played with one of the long time greats. Mr B.F.F has been working hard to improve his Head-to-Head over OG in Wii Sports Club Golf.
Mr B.F.F so far has been pleased with the outcomes that he gotten in the games he had, including the wins. Sometimes, he would lose to OG but there’s no hard feelings about it. He always enjoys a good and fun game overall. We will be sharing three interesting games that Mr B.F.F really likes and saw what happened on those outcomes.
However, things sometimes do not go way for OldGuy as some mishaps costs him the game. He even suffered a first upset in front of our Team Members showing a +1 on their score. That’s a first. In this post, we will cover all of the moments that were captured witnessing OldGuy’s slips in the game. How the +1 Happened on OG…
We even had this as a featured Online Game because this was the first time he has made such a game that he did not get a Gold Star after the game! Mr B.F.F had a +2 and finished third but that OG’s shocker is what made the Highlight since he is a long time player and he has slipped real badly. Shocking and stunning. Here’s the full story of how the game went down.
All seems normal when all three players were bringing in a good score. Mr B.F.F missed his Shot 3 putt for Birdie while Quintin and OldGuy had a Birdie. 1 Par and 2 Birdies. In Hole Resort 8, Quintin makes his shot that it goes through the green really well. Note that he used a 3 Iron because the wind is blowing south. OldGuy in the other hand, lines up for his shot but uses the 5 Iron, he seems that he hits it so well but eventually directly LANDS ON THE WATER COMPLETELY.
This was a first out of a complete shock that OldGuy missed, and in an crucial and unusual way. Quintin and Mr B.F.F also saw the shock as well. After seeing the miss, Mr B.F.F goes for 3 Iron to play it safe. With the miss, Mr B.F.F and Quintin made their way for a Birdie and Par respectively, while OldGuy gets a Par.
Going down on the Rough Way for the +1 to happen….
OldGuy would go down once again as he suffers another Bogey after landing on the Bunker, trying to recover from a mess and miss a Par putt. This would be the first time ever that he has recorded a +1 against Mr B.F.F and Quintin in the Online Game. What a surprise! Not the best, but he did get 2nd though. Reactions were towards OG and how he missed that game horribly wrong. It’s his first score outside the negative area and he did not receive a Gold Star for not making under Par. Could be a disappointment. Sad to see it happen.
In a rematch in the same hole, Quintin did not defend his previous win. However, the Team String was alive when Mr B.F.F had defeated OG in an interesting round, to claim his 250th win overall. Mr B.F.F played it safe, carefully positioned himself well in hole Resort 8 to claim the Birdie.
Following that, doing the same in the 9th which gave Mr B.F.F the victory, -2 to -1. OG missed his attempt to score a Birdie in Hole 8. This after a shot hit too hard costed him to miss. Mr B.F.F emerged victorious over OG in Resort C. Also the first time in that particular Hole. Well done.
A Tough Decision That Put OG Down For the Next Two Holes, Lakeside C
This game also made way for Mr B.F.F to get a record of his own in Lakeside C. Let’s see what happened. OldGuy takes on his first shot on Lakeside 7 for which he lands on the Rough, 200+ yards left to go on the green. Mr B.F.F also lands on the rough but will be doing a risk to get closer. OG decided whether he wanted to drive to the Green but it would be too risky since he could land on the water. He decided to wedge the shot to get back on the Fairway to make things easier.
With that wedge shot, OG manages to put the ball on the green, but it wasn’t going to be an easy putt for him. Mr B.F.F drives from the Rough and puts him a very good position to putt for the Birdie! He went first to putt and claimed the Birdie!
Nice showing from Mr B.F.F, it was also the break that puts him ahead of the game for now. OG’s turn and he lines up for a Par saving putt, but he suffers a Miss and is forced to take the Bogey. Tough hole for OG but could he do better in the next hole?
In Lakeside 8, Mr B.F.F and OG carefully managed to iron their way to the green, without falling to the water. They both survive with a Putt left on that hole. Mr B.F.F was the first to putt, lining up carefully with a well hit Putt that got the Golf Ball into the Hole. Slowing down as it falls in the cup, he manages to Birdie his way to reach a second victory overall in Lakeside C, as a matter a fact.
Mr B.F.F locks in the victory for a Record Game for his Lakeside C Score!
In OG’s putt, he carefully lines up as well, but he misses his chance to bounce back with a Birdie. He claimed a Par and it gives Mr B.F.F another Break ahead. Only three points to Spare, Mr B.F.F finishes the job in Lakeside 9 with the Shots going all the way to the Hole for a Birdie there.
OG also finished with his head up high getting at least one Birdie after doing the same. Finishing a score 0 under par. OG would have a chance had he used the Driver on the Second Shot of the first hole but it was just too risky. Mr B.F.F would have gotten the lead still, if he retained a point ahead of the game, which he actually had three point ahead of his opponent.
Mr B.F.F praised this game as the best of the hardest 3 Holes out there. He played a Perfect Birdie Game to seal the deal off this victory against OldGuy. We’re proud of Mr B.F.F’s rock solid performance for this one! Well done.
The Lakeside Mistake, the OB that put him down, Double Victory Claimed
This online game was probably the best for Mr B.F.F and Quintin as they both tied in that game. Mr B.F.F has yet to win over Quintin in Lakeside A but will be trying even harder next time when they show up. In this game, you will find out how OG’s Out of Bounds shot costed him this game. Everything seemed so good again that everyone got a Birdie in the first hole.
In Hole 2, the players managed to make the green, and then Quintin secures his Birdie putt. When it’s OG’s turn, he hits the ball so hard that it jumps away from the hole and misses. Mr B.F.F also misses his putt for not turning enough. They both land on a Par. In the third hole, OG and Mr B.F.F takes the shortcut route while Quintin goes the Normal Route.
Mr B.F.F had to be careful with his Shortcut shot as he was first to go up and try it out. He used a Driver to get through the OB area. Mr B.F.F does make it, but he hits it with too much power that it lands in the bunker. Bummer? OG decides whether he wants to play Driver, 3 Wood, or 3 Iron.
A Crucial Shot that doesn’t quite make it….
Taking much time to focus, he ultimately decides to go for a 3 Iron in hopes that he will get there, also considering the wind in play. He hits it hard and the next thing they all noticed, it hits the tree stopping the ball from moving further. The Ball falls down the OB area and OG missed it. Another shock! That miss, ultimately ruled out his chance to win.
Mr B.F.F is the only one to make it through the shortcut area and has made it through, he pushes on further to finish with a Birdie Putt in order to stay safe. Quintin took 5 shots overall to finish, get the Par and tie with Mr B.F.F. OG with the miss, suffers a 1 stroke penalty, could not make up for his recovery and had to approach the hole, but for a Bogey.
Conclusion and Things to Note:
He would leave out in the final with the loss. It put him down with a score with a -+0. Another absolute stunner to the game. Both sharing the win, Quintin and Mr B.F.F will be the defending winners for the next game.
