Old AJ on 5,000 VR: It’s Been an Amazing Ride So Far (Mario Kart 8)

Now halfway to 10,000 VR. The grind proceeds to continue…

It was only today that Mr B.F.F leapfrogged his way to 5,000 VR on Classic Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. His positive and promising performance continues to show and he pushed forward to some fantastic wins. He participates on the No DLC Races Online and pushes himself forward to collect and collect much VR during the day and it’s showing a positive push to a better score.

Mr B.F.F was very amazed and proud that he would achieved 5,000 VR to this day. He called it a privilege to win it where he is right now. “It has been an amazing ride so far, and I enjoyed every moment from the races I tried to do my best in.”

Mr B.F.F tells Team B.F.F Gamers, how does it feel to be pushing on in Mario Kart 8, even though it’s almost a decade old game?

With some word of encouragement, “I want to keep going and try to produce a great score before the Online closes for this game. There’s plenty of time to continue on the grind and I feel that my interest has increased for this game. I will be looking forward to it. There are even racers who are also interested in doing the same so I must wish them all the best of luck in their grind.”

Additionally, he gave his own advice. “You know I always jump for joy and get excited when 1st place comes to me. But to get it, you know you have to work at your very best and I practiced a lot, even pushing myself harder to get there to that rank so it’s not easy by any stretch as you have to push yourself, practice hard to make it happen.”

And now, let’s take a look into how this 5,000 VR grind all happened today.

Today’s session saw Mr B.F.F grinding and was not hesitant to gain first place back to back. He saw a positive performance allowing him to gain a ton of VR. As the early performance delivers, he was nearing 5,000 VR and he couldn’t find a much packed lobby.

With much effort into finding one, his performance dipped a bit and he even caused an easy win over an opponent he has won 15 times. 15 – 3 now. Because of that, he tried to focus hard to avoid losing VR and causing a much bigger dip in his grip and performance.

There were even players who made the races very intense and fun at the same time. Also including the races who picked up an insane amount of speed. Mr B.F.F tries to go the distance in different lobbies and also notices the differences as well.

As soon as he was ready to rebound, he brought it home to 2nd and 3rd place in the last two races to take 5,000 VR total. Mr B.F.F was finally happy to have reached the score he wanted to achieve today. He is now 5,000 VR away, halfway to 10,000.

While he’s at it, having the success, his win rate margins are below par. His fellow opponents have tried to temper Mr B.F.F’s winning runs on Mario Kart 8 Online. Though sometimes not taking first position, he still takes plenty of VR and rebounds to a better position or even gaining first in the latter races.

Players such as those with 10,000+ VR may be challenging and have managed to find their groove easier. That happens in a ton of races they are and things won’t be easier as Mr B.F.F is running for the same. And then, the Head to Head scores fluctuate every time he lands on a different position.

As you can see, results wise, the Losses have outlasted Mr B.F.F’s wins. As of 09/14/2023, he has 897 wins and 977 losses. That calculates to 47%. There is some room for improvement if he wants to increase the margin.

In the Wins are his separate head to heads. Mr B.F.F has created three prolific Head to Head results which they are his Team Members. He currently leads S. Gameboy by a margin of 109 – 98 in their races. (52%). Mr B.F.F has two Head to Heads where he does not win or lead on. He has a 56 – 200 result over Quintin (28%) and a 30 – 88 score over Marcus (25%). Some other Head to Heads includes a player who friended Mr B.F.F a while ago and Mr B.F.F leads with a 19 – 15 score. (55%).

Will Mr B.F.F continue racing on Mario Kart 8 Online? Yes, he will be continuing on the Grind for as long as he can. He will still be able to play with Team Members and continue to improve and his scores. While he drives to the fullest yet, Mr B.F.F sometimes receives interesting and sometimes unusual messages.

Mr B.F.F has played fairly and it always has been. No cheating or anything else. He would only get some advice from Quintin on what Combo he would choose and he likes it. There is no usual difference to what place he will get but it’s the performance and the technique that matters. He’s gonna ignore what’s going on and continue with confidence.
