S. Gameboy had the Greatest Idea for a new Online Game Opportunity.
Another game entry in the books! S. Gameboy suggested once in a Google Meet that we should play Super Nintendo Online! Mr B.F.F accepted after noting that he has the app as well. Also making good use of the Switch Online Membership, they tested out three games and boy, they were very fun!
These applications produces and curates a old collection of classic games! Super Nintendo Entertainment System Online and Nintendo Entertainment System from Nintendo Switch Online will be part of the game collections we add to our list. Thanks to S. Gameboy for the suggestion we didn’t think of earlier! In today’s post, you will see games including Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World. Let’s check out what happened in today’s Special Online Highlights.
Getting to Know Super Nintendo Online with Donkey Kong Country 2
S. Gameboy and Mr B.F.F began their first ever Online Multiplayer of Super Nintendo Online. First with a game of Donkey Kong Country 2. Seemingly inspired by the Mario Games, all they did for this game was to control either Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong and complete the levels one at a time. If they get hit, they will change turns which allowed Mr B.F.F to get an insight of the game and how it works. They collected the letters and completed the levels.
The controls for this game were really simple sometimes, there were some slips along the way but does make for a good Co-Op play! The enemies made it tricky for our players since they got hit but always find a solution to overcome them. Grabbing the barrels and breaking it was a very interesting thing as well since Diddy Kong is freed once after it’s broken.
Though they did make progress, There were connection issues so that meant that Mr B.F.F would sometimes get kicked out. It got so severe that S. Gameboy also left the game and they decided to do another game. There are plenty more to try out from this amazing collection of games!
Super Mario Kart – Getting the Hang of the Controls!
Mr B.F.F felt that Super Mario Kart was going to be a little easier since he knew that game before. S. Gameboy chooses to play it after finishing some Donkey Kong. Though the controls were confusing at first, selecting a character requires to hit the Start Button and accelerating requires the B button. The controls were very slippery and they struggled on the first race taking 7th and 8th respectively. Also considering that it was a 100cc race. They went for 50cc once after.
In the second race, Mr B.F.F surprisingly found a better grip of the controls. He also managed to skid on his way to the track’s turns. With the memorization of the controls, he can turn well, get coins, run through the item blocks which he uses them with the controls and speed with the B button.
With that in mind, he managed to outlast the players and make 1st place. Mr B.F.F had praised that round for a dramatically better improvement than the last race being 8th there. Mr B.F.F was also hoping to do another race but S. Gameboy decided to change the game to another one to find something even better which it was, in fact. It is currently Mr B.F.F’s favorite game played with S. Gameboy so far.
Making Progress on Super Mario World, a better game!
Yep. Super Mario World was next. S. Gameboy saw much more interest in this game that he and Mr B.F.F even resumed their run on the very next day. So here it was, the last game of the day, Super Mario World. On a two-player game, they take turns if they manage to breeze through the course, or fail. Mario and Luigi splits up to unlock areas of the map they are on.
With prior knowledge of the Super Mario Games, they waste not time and begin their grind with the first level. They were off a few times, especially when they reached the castle levels but maintained lives through the courses. Occassionally, Mr B.F.F’s slips caused a Game Over and had to share lives with S. Gameboy but would successfully get through a good chunk of the levels they went through.
They managed to breeze through four castles and three different Boo Houses. Some courses were tricky, even the castle and Boo Levels. Once they manage to complete the castle levels, the game tells them to use their brains. There are secrets in the game that allows them to keep going more further in the game.
With that in mind, they will seek to further extend their progress in the near future after completing a good amount of levels. However, S. Gameboy didn’t noticed that the data would carry over but instead saved incorrectly causing them to replay a world once again when they returned. They are not too worried to do it again though but it will be the same, but sometimes tricky. Until next time then.
Conclusion and Thoughts:
This Online Game gives more teamwork for both Members! Mr B.F.F enjoyed the games although sometimes he can’t progress sometimes as his console goes hot on him but does overcome to work with S. Gameboy through the levels. He will be looking forward to play some more games in the collection and may see more gameplays of Super Mario World in the future as well.
After the castle level was completed, Mr B.F.F had to end off the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Online Session for now and resume again for another day. Great work to both Mr B.F.F and S. Gameboy. We also hope you enjoyed reading a small breakdown of what happened here.
