ICYMI – The WSC Collab – An Event w/Gameboy

Special exhibition event organized by Gameboy to celebrate 20 subscribers – cool!

Watch with a video….

Our Team Member, Super Gameboy organized a Wii Sports Club Collab which he would use as a video to celebrate 20 subscribers on his YouTube channel. If you haven’t already, we recommend you check out his channel and help him grow. An idea put into works, Gameboy wanted to face off with a player to get going.

His original choice was main Team Leader, Mr B.F.F. He agreed to participate despite issues with low batteries, lag on Baseball, the upcoming semi-retirement on Tennis and lack of Interest playing WSC all together. Shortly, Mr B.F.F was interested but decided to participate in NSS Friend Games instead. Gameboy on the other hand had his to find a replacement due to Mr B.F.F’s schedule this week.

Quintin opted-in to take his spot. Gameboy accepted the replacement, causing Mr B.F.F to withdraw, considering that he is already hyped for the Collab. Quintin agreed to play but he had no time left of the day when he agreed to serve as replacement. Waited the next day and still, Quintin decided to record videos for his channel instead. This caused Gameboy to resort another player as he still has interest in a Collab Special.

Fortunately, he got Mr B.F.F who set a deal for their Collab if it were to happen, since he’s semi-retired in Tennis (more to come) and they suffer significant lag in Baseball. Gameboy agreed to the Terms and Mr B.F.F had reversed his Withdrawal to play with the WSC Pro. With Mr B.F.F having enough time of the day and Gameboy all hyped up for the WSC Collab, they played! Let’s take a look at today’s highlights! Macaroni Mii reporting for today’s Highlight segment.

WSC Collab kicks off with Bowling – Three Modes

Their WSC Collab started when the pair began all three modes of Bowling. They are 10-Pin, 100-Pin and Spin Control. Mr B.F.F knew what was going to happen. It all depends on what Gameboy did to get a Perfect. Still building upon his Winning and Perfect streaks, Mr B.F.F goes for the Slowpoke throw. Later on, Gameboy developed his fast ball throw. They both orchestrate a Perfect 12 for 300. That meant they also tied the first round. Gameboy out of surprise pulls off a Perfect Game, knowing he’s also got to do it for the video as well. He converts very well.

In 100-pin, Mr B.F.F opens his round to miss a Secret Strike. He left only a few pins left and promptly gives a lead to Gameboy after he strikes. Mr B.F.F would then rebound for all 11 remaining frames using the Secret Strike method while Gameboy missed strikes in several frames. Mr B.F.F won the round with 2796 pins to 1995 pins and took the first point from Gameboy. It’s a matter if he could get Spin Control right.

Was Mr B.F.F’s predictions right in Spin Control?

In Spin Control, Mr B.F.F gets an open frame early in the game and gives Gameboy the lead. Gameboy then misses his 2nd frame and following, Mr B.F.F gets a Four in a Row strike. Gameboy dominates with a Strike to rebound from his mistakes. Then the big turn-around, Mr B.F.F suffers an open frame a few times, even in the harder frames.

He misses significantly that Gameboy extended his lead and locked in the Win. He finished with exactly 200 points. Mr B.F.F finished with 175 as the Turkey Strikes was not enough, being only 25 points short. Gameboy ties with a point with 1 – 1 overall. Mr B.F.F was hoping to dethrone Gameboy again but that was not the case. That concluded the Bowling portion as they both tied. Mr B.F.F has confidence he will break first in the next sport.

Golf – 3 Holes Random

Next game was Three Holes Random on Golf. Mr B.F.F easily predicted that he was going to take the win. But it depended on the hole they were going to play on. What was the hole? It was Lakeside B. Although Lakeside shows Mr B.F.F’s weakest performances on the course, he just needed to focus in to get it right. They started off with Gameboy swinging through the right elements and Mr B.F.F landing in the Bunker. Gameboy missed an intense curve putt and missed his 3rd shot once after. Mr B.F.F tries to Chip In but misses. He gets a Par while Gameboy gets a Early Hit with a Bogey.

In the 2nd Hole – an extremely long Par 5 Hole, Mr B.F.F lands on the Deep Rough while Gameboy makes through the Fairway. The opposites happen when Mr B.F.F carefully makes through the Fairway while Gameboy lands on the Bunker. Mr B.F.F tries to move in closer on the green but he lands on the Rough. Gameboy lands on the Bunker and had to get through the Green. But only to be getting another Bogey. Mr B.F.F saves himself with a less easier putt which he gets for another Par.

A Chip-In Birdie coming up!

In the Final Hole – 6, Mr B.F.F starts off with the shot going to the Rough while Gameboy nearly lands on the Fairway, only to be covered by Trees. Mr B.F.F plays an Iron shot that almost puts him on the green. Gameboy tries to driver his shot to save himself but hits the trees. He did a 9 Iron shot that puts him closer but misses a Birdie. Mr B.F.F in his 3rd shot lines it up carefully as he wants a Chip-In to make things interesting. He would then successfully get the Chip-In Birdie and does guarantee the Win over Gameboy. Gameboy tried to finish with the same as well but misses his Par shot. He got his 3rd Bogey in a Row.

Disappointed Gameboy finished with a +3 while Mr B.F.F felt happy he got at least a -1. The score was 2 – 1 on Mr B.F.F’s favor and that he was one away from winning their Collab video. It depends on Boxing for which Gameboy can find that he can easily redeem himself there, based on considering factors.

Boxing – Single Match

Mr B.F.F was ahead by one but a Tie could be easily established, and why is that? Gameboy is the dominant player in boxing, so no doubt the predictor here is Gameboy after Mr B.F.F suffered a loss after his strategy did not work and Gameboy defending and giving the more upper jab. He did re-enact the same movements from their previous meet-up and knocked the lights out of Mr B.F.F once again.

Mr B.F.F suffered lag issues which caused Gameboy to teleport from one place to another. This was not too significant but Gameboy finished Mr B.F.F to knock him out. Mr B.F.F easily saw it was not worth it to continue after Gameboy already locked in the two rounds, but Gameboy’s serious business finished him off. He did not survive to the end, which caused a major upset for Mr B.F.F. Mr B.F.F said that is the most embarrassing part and resists to watch his failure in Boxing there again.

They concluded their WSC Collab with a score of 2 – 2. They tied. Both Mr B.F.F and Gameboy’s abilities and skills are tricky for each other to work with in different sports but they will seek improvement in the areas they most break down on. Great Games and performances from both players.
