Quintin spent days and weeks working hard on the grind
I am very pleased to announce that Quintin has reached 99,999 VR on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, fulfils the Max VR the game can offer. He has taken his valuable gaming time to grind everyday, setting a goal to win 1,000 a day. The pace was there and he managed to reach several milestones along the way, 60K, 70K, 80K, and even 90K VR.
I have to say that Quintin has taken a lot of dedication to get there. He’s has surpassed a majority of us on VR, our favorite YouTubers and even got through all of the challenges that would have tried to stop his daily goals. Now, this was a grind he took seriously, and that he’s gotten the respect of new friends as well. I’m proud of Quintin and I wish him all the best of luck in his next chapter of gaming.
Quintin has expressed interest to grind for the max VR, because he had the feeling to do so and he would like to have it put in his portfolio too. He would then set up a long grind, which took weeks but a lot of effort is put into that. He went on to reach 99K in no time.
The Max VR Celebration!
On Quintin’s final day of grinding, he was just 80 VR to go. To make the milestone more interesting, Team B.F.F Gamers and Friends was there to celebrate Quintin’s days of grinding. Mr B.F.F expressed interest to join Quintin and watch him hit the max VR. He then confirmed that he would change his schedule to play MK8D with Quintin to celebrate the milestone.
Then a session would be created, which had S. Gameboy and Marcus also coming in early. Dressed for the occasion, with Dolphin Suits on, honoring Dolphin Shoals, they also participated for a few races. They were also hoping to play Dolphin Shoals or Shy Guy Falls to end off the journey but it ended up being a far different track.
Having a clan wearing Dolphin Suits means so much, because Mr B.F.F loves to bring awareness of the Dolphins, it reminded us of a Content Creator’s Highlight video, back in those days, and overall the time when I started to like Dolphin Shoals too. Such an honor to race with the suit as we celebrated Quintin’s final races to the Max.
The moment when Quintin reached the Max VR, he barely reached with the exact number of +5 earned to get it, he was absolutely proud of the work he’s done to get there. He then cheered with “Let’s Go!” before signing off from the Worldwide Lobby. That concluded a historic run for the first time.
His fellow friends congratulated Quintin for the historic achievement, ranging from screenshots and videos. The Team even has a screenshot over here, that you might have seen already.
What is Quintin’s future now that he has reached 99,999 VR?
Quintin has announced that he has put the game aside, and will transition back to the Nintendo Switch Sports, and the golf community as per usual. He will occasionally play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with friends or if a session happens. He doesn’t plan to grind in Battle Mode as he does not favor the mode that much to start such a workout again.

Special Highlight: Quintin Breaks his Losing Streak on Superstars with Friends!
Just after Quintin reached his historic 99,999 VR on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Team then headed to Mario Party Superstars to play another game. To make up for the last session, the four players headed over to Woody Woods. The last three games did not see Quintin fall behind to lock in fourth place, but the Bonus Stars were the biggest factor in his losses.
Seriously prepared and not ready to take a laugh just yet, Quintin kept his strength and fought his way into bringing the game into a close outcome. A promising show for Quintin. Once after, Mr B.F.F played a significant move that contributed to Quintin’s win. He played the Chomp Call and by doing star moved the Star where the game can continue with it. Quintin promptly reached his fifth star in the 20th turn.
The winning moment comes in!
When the game ended, it all came down to Bonus Stars. S. Gameboy caught up with two bonus stars he earned, and then Quintin earned the unlucky bonus, securing his first ever win, since January. Quintin had unfortunately failed to clinch a title for February after he was suffering a loss of form in Superstars. Quintin regained form and hopes of winning one during March, which was promising, and then it was finally in. He ended his 21 match losing streak in the process and won his fifth title of the year.
After Quintin lifted the title, he hailed the 03/15/2024 session as his greatest comeback Fun and Games session yet. Not only reached the VR, but also winning on Superstars. He was extremely proud, but ultimately kept his victory all clean and cool in the end. Quintin was still very thankful for all of the comments that came in and even he posted on his Community Tab about his achievements. We’re all proud of him!
